Far East Gold Advances Drilling at High-Grade SUA Prospect with Strong Gold Intercepts


 Far East Gold Limited (ASX: FEG) has ramped up exploration activities at its highly prospective SUA Prospect, part of the Idenburg Gold Project in Papua Province, Indonesia, delivering encouraging high-grade gold results from its ongoing diamond drill program.

The company’s drill campaign, designed to confirm and extend historical mineralisation, continues to intersect bonanza-grade gold zones and coarse visible gold within a stacked quartz-vein system. Results from key holes highlight the potential scale and continuity of mineralisation at depth and along strike.

Key Highlights from Recent Drilling:

Strong high-grade intercepts: Hole KSD024 returned exceptional grades, including 280 g/t gold over 0.4 m, within a broader zone of 8.59 g/t Au over 35.5 m.

Visible gold observed: Coarse visible gold was noted in quartz-sulphide breccia, reinforcing confidence in the mineralised system.

Continuity of mineralisation: The high-grade zone remains open along strike for at least 75 m beyond previous holes, indicating further growth potential.

The drilling program at SUA is part of a 10-hole, ~1,820 m diamond drilling campaign that seeks to validate historic results and expand the known high-grade domains within the 5 km-long Sua–Afley shear zone — a major structural corridor with more than 30 identified gold-bearing veins.

Far East Gold’s leadership says the early results from the drill program — including multiple bonanza-grade hits near surface — support the geological model and point toward significant resource growth potential for the SUA Prospect and the wider Idenburg project.

As assays continue to be returned and interpreted, the company plans to extend drilling both laterally and at depth, aiming to upgrade the existing inferred resource and unlock further high-grade mineralised shoots in this highly prospective gold system

Resolution Minerals Strikes Significant Gold at Horse Heaven, Idaho

  Australian-listed miner Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) has announced a breakthrough discovery at its Horse Heaven Project in Idaho, USA. The first diamond-core drill hole at the Golden Gate prospect (HH-GG25-001C) intersected a broad near-surface gold zone — 189.2 metres @ 1.30 g/t Au from a depth of just 34.1 metres. Impressively, mineralisation bottoms  out and remains open at depth.
