Platina Resources Doubles Its Laverton Footprint with Strategic Acquisition

Platina Resources (ASX: PGM) has significantly expanded its presence in Western Australia’s Laverton Gold District by acquiring the Mt Morgans South Gold Project. The new tenement package boosts the company’s landholding to more than 312 km², nearly doubling its exploration footprint in one of Australia’s most productive gold belts.

The Mt Morgans South project sits close to major gold operations, including the Jupiter and Westralia mines, and lies within proven Archean greenstone geology known for hosting multi-million-ounce deposits. This strategic location gives Platina strong potential for new gold discoveries.

The company plans to begin exploration by reviewing historical data, refining targets and preparing for future drilling programs. With this acquisition, Platina strengthens its district-scale strategy and enhances its chances of uncovering high-value gold opportunities.
