Far East Gold Confirms District-Scale Gold Mineralisation at Idenburg

Far East Gold Ltd (ASX: FEG) has confirmed significant gold mineralisation across multiple drill holes at its Bermol prospect in the Idenburg Project, Papua, Indonesia. Assays from Phase-1 drilling revealed 4.7 metres at 2.26 g/t Au (BRD011) and 2 metres at 3.17 g/t Au (BRD010), with high-grade sections up to 11.02 g/t.

In parallel, geological mapping at the North Bermol prospect — about 1.5 km northwest of Bermol — has uncovered sulphide-bearing quartz veins and boudins in structural corridors, with grab samples returning grades as high as 25.9 g/t Au and 7.8 g/t Ag.

These developments strengthen the interpretation that Idenburg could host a district-scale gold system, with multiple structurally controlled, high-grade gold zones

Far East Gold is continuing its exploration push, drilling at North Bermol and preparing for programs at other prospects like Sua and Kwaplu, while also conducting a 320-line-kilometre drone survey across ~1,200 hectares.
