Victory Metals and Sumitomo Join Forces on Rare Earth Project


 

Victory Metals partners with Sumitomo Corporation to evaluate and advance the North Stanmore Rare Earth Project in Australia.


Victory Metals Limited has formalised an agreement through a to collaborate on its North Stanmore Rare Earth Project in Western Australia. The LOI allows both companies to conduct technical reviews, assess project potential, and discuss offtake arrangements.

The project contains high-grade neodymium and praseodymium mineralisation essential for electric vehicle motors and clean energy applications. Victory Metals’ leadership emphasised that aligns with Japan’s strategy to diversify rare earth supply beyond China.

Resolution Minerals Strikes Significant Gold at Horse Heaven, Idaho

  Australian-listed miner Resolution Minerals (ASX: RML) has announced a breakthrough discovery at its Horse Heaven Project in Idaho, USA. The first diamond-core drill hole at the Golden Gate prospect (HH-GG25-001C) intersected a broad near-surface gold zone — 189.2 metres @ 1.30 g/t Au from a depth of just 34.1 metres. Impressively, mineralisation bottoms  out and remains open at depth. Notably, the intercept includes severa l higher-grade zones: 12.9 m @ 2.32 g/t Au from 94.4 m and 70.8 m @ 2.24 g/t Au from 128.8 m. These results suggest the presence of an intrusion-hosted gold system — a deposit style known for large tonnage potential — similar to that found at the nearby Stibnite Gold Project located only ~6 km away. Platina Resources Doubles Its Laverton Footprint with Strategic Acquisition

The new tenement package boosts the company’s landholding to more than 312 km² , nearly doubling its exploration footprint in one of Australia’s most productive  gold belts. The Mt Morgans South  project sits close to major gold operations, including the Jupiter  and Westralia  mines, and lies within proven Archean greenstone geology known for hosting multi- million-ounce deposits . This strategic location gives Platina strong potential for new gold discoveries.
