Yugo Metals Moves Closer to Petrovo Polymetallic Approval

Yugo Metals Limited is progressing toward a key milestone as it advances approval for the Petrovo polymetallic project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The company is actively engaging with government authorities and local stakeholders, signaling strong momentum toward securing the exploration license.

The Petrovo tenement covers around 10 square kilometres and holds significant historical and recent exploration potential. Earlier drilling results revealed high-grade nickel and zinc-lead mineralisation, while recent surface sampling has identified promising gold and silver values.

This combination of base and precious metals makes Petrovo a strategically valuable asset, especially as global demand for battery metals and industrial commodities continues to rise.

Yugo Metals has maintained ongoing consultations with the Ministry of Energy and Mining and remains optimistic about receiving approval. The company is also preparing to rapidly mobilise exploration teams once the license is granted, highlighting its readiness to move into the next phase of development.

Beyond Petrovo, the company continues to strengthen its broader portfolio across Bosnia, aligning with Europe’s push to secure domestic supply of critical minerals.
