Provaris Energy Accelerates Global Hydrogen and CO₂ Innovation
Provaris Energy (ASX: PV1) has marked a major step forward in clean-energy transport with the launch of its new Innovation Centre in Fiskå, Norway. The facility features an advanced robotic manufacturing cell that will fabricate and test prototype tanks for compressed hydrogen (H₂) and liquid CO₂ (LCO₂). Prototype tank construction begins this quarter, with testing scheduled for early 2026.
Alongside this milestone, Provaris has strengthened its global partnerships. The company has completed technical due diligence with K LINE on its H2Neo™ hydrogen carriers and H2Leo™ storage barges, paving the way for commercial hydrogen-shipping solutions. A collaboration with Baker Hughes adds world-class compression technology to support future hydrogen export projects, especially in Europe.
Provaris is also advancing liquid CO₂ infrastructure through its partnership with Yinson Production. The companies have entered the FEED phase for a 25,000 m³ low-pressure LCO₂ tank design intended for offshore carbon-capture and storage operations.
Together, these developments position Provaris as an emerging leader in cost-efficient hydrogen transport and large-scale CO₂ storage — key pillars for global decarbonization and the energy transition.
