Terra Metals Uncovers High-Grade Mineralisation at Dante Project, Strengthening Critical Minerals Potential
Terra Metals Limited (ASX: TM1) has reported
outstanding drilling results from its Dante Project in Western Australia’s West
Musgrave region, reinforcing the site’s potential as a globally significant
critical minerals source. The latest infill drilling campaign at Reef 2
North intercepted high-grade, wide zones of mineralisation from the surface,
bridging a 2.7-kilometre drilling gap.
The most notable drill results include hole HRC029, which intersected
15 metres at 12.89% titanium dioxide (TiO₂), 0.28% copper equivalent (CuEq),
and 0.54% vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) from 42 metres, including a 4-metre section
at 21.44% TiO₂, 0.59% CuEq, and 1.04% V2O5. These results confirm strong continuity of mineralised zones, further supporting the
project’s economic viability.
CEO Thomas Line highlighted the
significance of these findings, stating that the results validate the
consistency of high-grade reef and hanging wall mineralisation from surface at
Reef 2. He emphasized that the excellent metal recoveries and concentrate grades from
Phase 1 metallurgical testing indicate the potential for a larger-tonnage,
lower-strip ratio resource.
Phase 1 metallurgical testwork has delivered exceptional
results, with three high-value concentrates produced through simple and
cost-effective processing methods. The high-grade Cu-Au-PGM sulphide
concentrate achieved a 28.0% copper grade, alongside significant gold and
platinum group metal recoveries. The titanium-ilmenite concentrate reached 40%
TiO₂ with a 65.6% recovery rate, while the vanadium-magnetite concentrate
delivered 1.81% V2O5 at a 90.9% recovery rate. These outcomes demonstrate Dante’s potential to
contribute meaningfully to the global supply of critical minerals.
The company is now preparing a maiden Mineral
Resource Estimate (MRE), leveraging existing sample inventory and drill data.
Further metallurgical optimisation is also underway to refine processing
efficiencies. The project’s geological similarities to South Africa’s Bushveld
Complex, one of the world’s most significant sources of critical minerals,
underscore its long-term value.
Strategically
located near BHP’s Nebo-Babel mine development, the Dante Project holds
considerable promise for investors. Terra Metals’ stock (ASX: TM1) recently
climbed 5.56% to $0.019, with a market capitalisation of $7.33 million. As the company
advances towards a formal resource estimate and continues exploration, the
project presents a compelling opportunity for investors seeking exposure to
high-grade titanium, vanadium, copper, and precious metals in a globally
competitive setting.
